We’re Tying the Knot!

Like so many relationships in today’s modern world, our story starts with a swipe to the right. We met on a dating app, as so many couples do nowadays. After a couple weeks of texting back and forth, we had our first date on March 24th, 2018. We met in person at The French Press cafe for lunch and then went down the road to Cheers Pablo painting studio for an art class. You can see a picture of our artwork on the Gallery page! After that, we continued dating and having adventures together - things like camping, an outdoor concert, and day trips to Stillwater and Minneapolis. It was hard sometimes, with us working completely opposite shifts, but we put in the effort to make things work. Life got easier and a lot better when we moved in together at the end of 2018. We were able to spend much more time together, and grow closer as we intertwined our lives. We survived job changes, a global pandemic, family issues and health problems together, and came out of it much stronger. Our relationship has always been based on a firm foundation of communication, and that has seen us through.

On Christmas Eve 2022, Nate popped the question to Chelsey in the privacy of their home. After a touching proposal and presenting her with an oval cut halo pavè diamond engagement ring, she of course said yes! We celebrated our engagement by driving around looking at Christmas Lights, followed by an intimate dinner at Johnny’s Steakhouse. Check out the pictures from that night on our Gallery page!
