It’s happening!

It all began the week I returned from work at Amazon from a family vacation. I had been praying for a Godly woman to come into my life for awhile at this point. When I spotted Ashley, I approached her to introduce himself but just as a friendly coworker, nothing more. Naturally, there was a lot of attention around her and I understood why. Ashley is a beautiful 5’7 heavenly sculpted Goddess. I started to get to know her and soon found that she was The One God sent for me. However, I assumed she was already spoken for so I just remained friends with her. 
She then told me her background story about her child and child’s father. That Kinda opened a door for me to shoot my shot. It got blocked due to her “not dating younger men” rule, but I was determined. I didn’t push too hard because I already knew what was meant to be would happen. We continued to be friends, best friends even, helping her make candles for her business; watching movies, having taco Tuesdays, laughing and talking on the phone everyday. Then one wonderful day in august, I finally had the thought to ask her to dinner and even after a minor set back, (still stuck in the friend zone) I’m beyond blessed. Who would’ve guess my gift would be sent to me by Amazon?

Nate slowly but surely became my best friend. A face I looked forward to seeing walking into work, a hug I could count on each shift. He was always a sweetheart. Always a listening ear, always giving me advice, always making me smile and laugh. In 2020, I had two major losses; my uncle and my close cousin who was more like a brother to me. Nate consoled me at work and helped me through my anxiety episodes, as I did for him. We had a lot in common and humongous hearts. The friendship and support we had for each other became a stable pillar in our growing romantic relationship. It just felt natural being around each other and because he was around often, Aniyah grew to love him. 
Our next date was axe throwing and go cart racing. Needless to say the competitive side in us caused this to be a pretty eventful and funny date. But the date that changed everything was August 23rd at the Sunflower Farm. Aniyah, Nate, and I all went to admire, walkthrough, and take pictures of this beautiful field of sunflowers. An unforgettable day, where I couldn’t deny what was being shown to me for months at this point. Real love and not just for me, but Aniyah too. The love I had prayed for had become personified and sent straight to me.... via Amazon. Crazy right?
