After graduating from University of Texas in 2018, Brady moved to Indianapolis for his first job at Siemens Engineering. Natalie graduated from New York University in 2019 and moved back to her hometown of Indianapolis. On September 16, 2019, Natalie downloaded the dating app Hinge, advertised as “the app designed to be deleted,” on a whim after seeing a commercial for it during Bachelor in Paradise. As it was her first time ever using a dating app, she was not really sure what to expect. While swiping through the profiles, Natalie responded to a prompt in Brady’s profile referencing their mutual favorite tv show, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. And from that point on, Hinge was history. Despite being annoyed that Natalie’s messages were in green text, Brady decided to take a chance and keep the conversation going. Brady and Natalie texted for hours on end for a week straight, never missing a beat. Brady would text Natalie a GIF from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia every morning. Their first date ended up being that weekend at a Mediterranean restaurant in Broad Ripple. Little did they know at the time, this would be the last first date either of them would go on. Brady and Natalie moved to Austin, Texas in April of 2021 with their 3 cats. The couple decided to officially call Austin home and purchased their first house together in April of 2022. On September 23rd, 2023, Natalie and Brady came home from a sushi dinner and exchanged cards for their 4th anniversary. Once Natalie finished reading Brady’s card, he got down on one knee and presented the ring, in which he had been hiding in the house for over 6 months. He popped the question to which Natalie responded in shock, “are you serious?” followed by an immediate “YES” and FaceTimes to the couple’s families.
