It’s hard to say exactly where our story begins: Our moms love to start with how we kissed when we were four (or, Natalie kissed Jack and he cried... semantics!) We first started crushing on each other when Jack impressed Natalie with a classic middle school move: playing Wonderwall for her on the guitar. We started dating (the first time) after our friends had everyone at a party spontaneously leave the room at the exact same time, abandoning us alone together to awkwardly talk about tennis for 30 minutes until Jack asked Natalie out. And after years of friendship, we started dating again at eighteen the summer before college, even though we knew we were going off to opposite coasts… But we like to think it all started on our very first date at fifteen. We did our homework together (well, Natalie did), had dinner at Cross Creek, then walked on the beach and watched the sun set over the ocean. We were young, but still, it felt like the beginning of something very special. Fourteen years later, we cannot wait to celebrate our love with all of you next Spring in Malibu, where it all began.
