The moment Natalia laid eyes on Dean, she knew he was the one. It is no surprise that Natalia and Dean value their fitness. So naturally, they met at the gym. Natalia was at a gym with her cousin. Dean and Natalia's cousin have been good friends for years. Mid-workout, she noticed Dean in the mirror. She kept sneaking peaks of him. She could not get the thought of this beautiful, muscular man out of her mind. She immediately told a friend "I found my husband." Little did she know, fate would bring them together in a few short months. A few months pass, Dean coincidentally helps Natalia get access to his gym, as a guest for the day. While he was filling out her information, he barely made any eye contact. She sensed he was nervous. She also remembered him from before. How could she forget her dreamt up "future husband"? As Natalia worked out, Dean circled her vicinity. He stalked her like a hawk stalks his prey. Walking around in circles, for no apparent reason, but her. Even though, Natalia just got her wisdom teeth pulled days prior and was definitely not dressed in her cute workout clothes. Later that night, Dean texted Natalia's cousin. He let him know that he was interested. Natalia thought she was dreaming. 5 years together later... During Labor Day weekend in the city, Dean got down on one knee, in their gorgeous hotel room and asked Natalia if she would spend the rest of her life with him. Truly love at first sight.

If you asked Dean or Natalia how they met, the only thing in common you will hear is that they met in a gym. They expect to take this feud to the grave as another thing they have in common is they are both stubborn to a fault. If you know anything about Dean, you know that he basically lived at the gym in his 20s and worked at one as well. Their first encounter, if you want to call it that, was while he was working out on his own and she went to the gym with her cousin, who is coincidentally Dean's close friend. Her cousin greeted Dean while he was working out and they conversed for a couple of minutes. Since he thought his shit didn't stink at that time and took his dating advice from the MTV reality show "The Pickup Artist", he made a point to completely ignore the fact that Natalia was standing there with her cousin even though he found her very attractive. Here is where their stories diverge. Dean will say that following the two of them seeing each other at the gym, Natalia told her cousin she found him attractive first. Natalia will say that Dean was the first one to bring it up to him. The exact words Dean used were not PG so I will leave them off of this page. From there the two of them did not see eachother again for another month until her cousin asked Dean if he could sneak Natalia in to the gym at night while he was the manager on duty. Dean again did a tremendous job of not showing her the time of day while getting them in the gym. Dean will admit, he did a fair bit of creeping while she was working out. He later decided to ask her cousin if he was ok with giving him her phone number and here they are 6 years later planning the rest of their lives together.
