Ecclesiastes 4:9

"Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken."

A message to our family...

We are both so excited to see you all and share our special day with you! We would like to make this short and sweet - we will not be requiring anyone to wear masks. It'll be entirely up to you. If you don't feel comfortable about coming because of that, we understand and don't want you to feel bad. We love all of you and will hopefully get to see/celebrate with you some other time. We would like to request that at our wedding no one talk about COVID. This day is supposed to be all about God and our commitment to Him and each other! We want to make sure both us and all of you enjoy it as well. With love, -Jacob & Natalee

How We Met

First comes the beach, then comes marriage.

During Natalee's freshman year of high school, she found Jacob on Instagram, gasped and turned to her best friend, Jenna, and said "Oh my gosh! I went to first grade with this guy!" Jenna grabbed the phone and proceeded to private message him for Natalee to her absolute horror. After talking over Instagram for a few weeks, Jacob asked Natalee to hang out at the beach, and two months later asked her to be his girlfriend at the beach. Even though they didn't go to the same high school, these high school sweethearts both knew they'd end up together forever, and they've grown with each other throughout the years. In August 2021, Jacob asked Natalee to be his wife at, you guessed it, the beach!
