This is one of the hop-on, hop-off bus tours that operates in Barcelona. We think it's a great way to start the trip because it takes all over the city and offers history and fun facts that you can use to guide the way you spend the rest of your trip. For example, on our ride we learned that the Christopher Columbus statue has an elevator in it, and you can go to the top for a great view of Barcelona's cost and gothic quarter.
This church, which is the masterpiece of local artist Antoni Gaudi, is one of Barcelona's most well known and recognized attractions. The basilica has been under construction for 140 years, and is expected to be completed in 2026.
Nice picturesque garden with architecture designed by Antoni Gaudi. This is also one of the most widely recognized Barcelona attractions.
This is like the Central Park of Barcelona. It's gorgeous and has amazing spots to take pictures (it's where we took our engagement photos!) like the Arc de Triomf and a breathtaking fountain (think Trevi Fountain but Spanish).
Voted the World's Best Bar, 2022. Seriously, it's amazing and 100% worth the hype. It's a speakeasy that you access by walking through what looks like the refrigerator of a pastrami shop. They don't take reservations, so either be prepared to wait in line an hour or more, or be prepared to slip the bouncer some cash to bump you to the front of the line. In our experience, 50 euros got us to the front of the line with two cold beers while we waited for them to let us in. The bar has over-the-top cocktails that are as delicious as they are visually interesting. And if you play your cards right, you may be invited to the speakeasy located within the bar, which is accessed through a bathroom in the back. We can't recommend this place enough and hope that you all take a night to visit!
Considered one of Antoni Gaudi's masterpieces, this is one building that makes up "La Manzana de la Discordia" or "The Block of Discord" in Barcelona. This block contains four buildings designed by four of the leading "modernista" artists.
This is a cute indoor space full of restaurants that focus on different aspects of Spanish gastronomy. It's within walking distance of the hotels, and the food is great!
Fun, intimate flamenco show within walking distance of the hotels. This is located next to the Placa de Catalunya, where two of Barcelona's most well known streets converge - La Rambla and Passeig de Gracia. It's within walking distance of the hotels.
Phenomenal Spanish restaurant with upscale, interesting decor. We highly recommend for a date night! It books up quickly, so we recommend making a reservation as far in advance as possible.
This hotel rooftop has an interesting view of the city and is a great place to hangout if you need a break from exploring the Gothic Quarter
Delicious restaurant with DJ and vibrant nightlife scene. The cocktails are, in Nash's words, "fire"!
This restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but it was some of the best food we had. We recommend ordering the pulpo (octopus) and tortilla de patatas (potato omelette), which they make fresh.
This is a Lebanese inspired Spanish restaurant with fantastic food and drinks. We tried most of the menu and weren't disappointed. The restaurant is small, so we recommend making a reservation.
This is on the same street as the hotels, and is a solid choose for food or drinks at any time of day. Grab breakfast here on your way out in the morning or end the night with a Gin & Tonic - it's all great.
