Naseem and Kelsie have decided to elope in Santorini, Greece in September! We mutually agreed that we wanted an intimate elopement that best suits our budget and wants for our big day. As our family and friends are very important to us, we wanted to host a celebratory dinner in our hometown, Bakersfield, to catch up with loved ones and celebrate this joyous occasion. We look forward to celebrating with all of you!
After dating for 2 years, Kelsie and Naseem had planned a fun getaway in Cancun to set out on a new adventure together. Little did Kelsie know, Naseem had something up his sleeve. Naseem surprised Kelsie with a private couples "photoshoot" on the beach. They walked along the beach taking pictures and chatting with the photographer. The photographer suggested they go to a more secluded location away from all the beach goers. As they came around some big rocks, Naseem walked ahead to an area where there was “Will You Marry Me” written in red rose petals. He got down on one knee, popped the question, and Kelsie said “YES”. The rest is history.
Naseem and Kelsie met through mutual friends back in the summer of 2014. They instantly became friends and started working out together at the gym, although that was short lived as Kelsie had plans to move from Bakersfield to San Diego to attend college. They soon went their separate ways...Naseem studied finance at Cal State Bakersfield, while staying busy with work, traveling, gym life, and cooking. Kelsie studied Marketing at SDSU while staying busy with friends, working at Sephora, and lots of homework. Upon Kelsie's graduation the pandemic was in full swing, so Kelsie moved back to Bakersfield. They reconnected after Kelsie had seen Naseem's social media posts of his amazing BBQ masterpiece's. She reached out to see if he would be willing to chef it up for her, but he had a better idea... He invited Kelsie out for a BBQ and jetskiing fun at the lake. (Naseem fixed up these jetski's after purchasing them on OfferUp and there were some technical difficulties LOL) After reconnecting, they realized how much they had in common and they quickly fell in love.
