Jordan and Naomi first met in 2012 while both living in Tower A at the University of Pittsburgh. Jordan and Naomi dated intermittently throughout their time at Pitt, and always remained close friends. Upon graduation, Jordan moved to Atlanta, GA, and Naomi settled in Washington, DC (by way of Kansas City, MO). When Jordan moved to Washington, D.C. in 2017, the two rekindled their relationship. Since then, Jordan and Naomi have lived in 5 different states, managed 2 years of long distance, and survived 1 pandemic. The rest is history.

On December 12, 2020, Jordan forcefully requested that the two go ice skating at an outdoor rink at Summit Park in Cincinnatti, OH. Although Naomi thought the request was peculiar, as it was raining and incredibly windy outside, she grudgingly agreed. Upon arrival at the Summit Park they decided to walk to the overlook tower at the park prior to skating. It was there, at the Summit Park overlook tower facing the lake, that Jordan got down on one knee and asked Naomi to marry him. Naomi was incredibly surprised, but happily said yes! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you! See you in Washington, DC.
