When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is May 1st 2023. RSVPs can be completed online. Please follow the link provided with your individual invitation to RSVP.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes. The link to the wedding registry is provided on our wedding website. Please click the REGISTRY tab to explore gifting options.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time so that we can get the event started as scheduled.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes guests are encouraged to post pictures and videos on social media. However, we encourage you to use the hashtag #BoatengLoveSong to help us keep track of all your lovely posts.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an ADULTS-ONLY event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

No. While we would love to have your guests join us, Our wedding is strictly reserved to who received an invite and RSVP’d yes to attendance.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. This is a formal event. Black tie attire is recommended. No jeans, t-shirts, or flipflops.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes there is a hotel block for guests at Champion Mill Hotel and also at Holiday Inn Express Fairfield. Please see the TRAVEL tab for more information.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. We will do our best to provide options for those with food allergies. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions you may have by leaving a note with your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot on site. Guests can park their vehicles there for free. Please be advised, the parking lot is a bit of a walk from the venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. Guests will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the hotels / venues.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be indoors. Please bring layered clothing (i.e blazer, jacker) if you are sensitive to cold temperatures.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour. Guests can head straight to the mezzanine space where we will be serving hors d’oeuvres and beverages during cocktail hour.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

If you cannot make it to the wedding or the reception, please know that you will be greatly missed! You can send any gifts you have for the couple through their wedding registry link.
