What is a Nikkah?

Answer

The Nikkah is the Islamic version of a ceremony, where the imam will officially declare the two married. This will approximately take 30-40 mins.

Do I need to come to the Nikkah?

Answer

No, this is an optional event! You can come if you want to be apart of it. Reception will start around 6. If you want to come you will need to RSVP for that event specifically. This will help us account for the number of chairs needed. :) RSVP link will be made available on the invitations.

Are there accommodations if we are coming from out-of-town?

Answer

Yes, Hotel information is available under the Travel Tab.

Will there be any alcohol?

Answer

This is an alcohol-free wedding.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you to ensure we stick to our guest count.

We love your kids—we really do, but this is an adult and invite only event.

Is there a second party?

Answer

Yes, There will be another party on July 29th. This party will focus more on the Nigerian Traditions. All is welcome, more details to come at the Wedding on May 21st!
