We are getting married

What started as a chance meeting, quickly felt God-ordained, as each step brought peace that God was orchestrating something special. Our story began in early December 2021 with text conversations, that quickly stretched into late nights. We progressed to FaceTimes, that soon reached the early mornings. By late December, we knew it was time to meet in person, and on January 1st we went on a date that confirmed all the magic we’d felt. 8 hours of laughter, connection, and chemistry later, we knew we needed to see each other again, and that our lives would never be the same. We became official on Jan 25th, and quickly started meeting friends and family. 10 States and 3 months later, we knew we wanted to build a life together. When you meet the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, you want that life to start as soon as possible. We got engaged on a beautiful sunny day in October. The proposal was during a beautiful sunset on the water between NYC and NJ. Symbolizing the merging of our lives, we got engaged in the spot that overlooked our first date. As a cross-cultural home (Brazil and America), it’s been a beautiful challenge to merge our cultures as we merge our lives, and we look forward to sharing some of that with you on our wedding day.
