Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are more than welcome at the ceremony! We're keeping the reception adult only with the exception of our nieces + nephews who are in the wedding party.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Our wedding block is at The Lodge at Schroon Lake. However, there are a few other options in the area which include a few additional hotels and Airbnb's. For additional hotel options, please visit the Travel tab of our wedding website.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

If you choose to drive, there are plenty of parking options at the venue. The best place to park would be by the restaurant, The Brown Swan. If you choose to park elsewhere on premises, please ensure you're not taking a spot intended for a specific cabin.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is semi-formal or dressy casual. We want you to be comfortable but please no jeans or shorts. Weather permitting, we are planning on having the ceremony on The Pier (lakeside), the cocktail hour will be on the Front Lawn (grassy area), and the reception will be in the High Peaks Ballroom.
