As with all the youth these days, Mike & Steph met online (thanks Hinge!) during the middle of the pandemic. After constant texting and a few phone calls, in October 2020 they decided it was worth it to finally meet in person. In true Covid dating fashion, they chose to take a walk in Pope John Paul park in Dorchester. Though they quite nearly missed each other (Mike had to share his location so Steph could find him), they walked, talked and explored the area before deciding to head over to Castle Island for Sullivan's french fries and all the best people watching. Fast forward to Summer 2021, Mike experienced a week in Wellfleet and Steph committed to suburb-living with a move to Foxboro in September. Over the years, Mike & Steph have enjoyed lots of Patriots tailgates and games, weekend getaways to Wellfleet, Narragansett or Newport and Portland, cozy Sundays and LOTR marathons, late night Avril Lavigne singathons and quality time with family and friends (Steph might even include snuggles with Fiona here). It was perfect timing in October 2022 when they decided to go to Newport for the day and enjoy the unseasonably warm weather. After stopping at Newport Vineyards, they headed to their second favorite spot at Second Beach. As they got up to leave, Mike popped the question and the answer was a resounding YES! Thankfully, a gaggle of ladies walking the beach were able to capture the moment. It was a no-brainer to get married in a spot that has so much meaning. We can't wait to share one of our favorite places with all of you!
