Through the years teaching, I (Alyssa) became "work wives" with my teaching partner, Tracy Weiher. Tracy tried relentlessly to set me up with her little brother, Tommy. She would send pictures of her brothers crocs when they were spending time at the lake and even attempted to have him move in with me when I needed a roommate years ago. But I was too stubborn to give it a shot! Fast forward multiple years, I saw this cutie on a dating app picture...no, it was not Tommy, it was Tracy's daughter, Lyla! I knew that little girl, and thought the guy who was holding her wasn't half bad either. I finally caved and decided to message him. We talked through text A LOT, and Tommy asked me on multiple dates in which I rejected him. Eventually I worked up the courage to meet him at the Panther Pub in Greendale for a date. He was a true gentleman and made me laugh for the countless hours that we sat there drinking tequila seltzers. On our second date, Tommy walked me to the door and said "ok, so you have two options...either kiss me or slap me". So DUH, I kissed him. When I went in my house that night, I called my best friend, Alyssa, and told her I found him while I jumped around the living room as the happiest girl alive. She most likely thought I was crazy, but I just knew! The rest is history :)
