Caitlin: Matt and I first connected on an app called Hinge. He slid into my DM's with a stunning fact about sloths, and we connected from there. After talking on the app for a few weeks I was asked out on a date by a guy I met in my "real life." I'm not the kind of person that can date two people at once, so since I hadn't met Matt in person yet, I thought it would be no big deal to cancel on him. Matt was disappointed but gracious. Things didn't work out with that other guy so I found myself back at square one. One night a couple weeks later I was cooking dinner and listening to a podcast when Siri echoed in my airpods, "New message from Matt Castillo." He called me Pal and asked me how my day was. I guess you can say the rest was history. Hundreds of margaritas, tex mex dates, and several tangled fly fishing lines later, I'm beyond thrilled to say I'm marrying my best friend and the most amazing man I know.
