There is no hotel within walking distance of the venue, so we picked a hotel downtown - Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel. It's right on the river and close to many great attractions in Chicago. We will be providing a shuttle for guests between the hotel and wedding venue.
Please RSVP by Sunday, September 8th. If you are booking in the hotel block, please book your hotel room by Thursday, September 5 (it could fill up before this date so book asap if you plan to stay in the hotel block)
There is limited reserved parking at Walden (Located on Leavitt street on the West side of the building) in a secured, gated lot. Otherwise, there is free street parking available all around the venue. Parking overnight in the lot is not allowed as the gate closes after guests have departed
No. Everything is all at the same venue and we will move straight from the ceremony to cocktail hour, to the reception.
If you are staying downtown close to the Renaissance, just walk over to the hotel to catch the shuttle. Or, take the green line toward Harlem/Lake to the Damen stop - it’s a 6 minute walk from the venue. Uber and Lyft is always an option too.
Yes, the wedding ceremony/reception is entirely inside
We request cocktail attire for our wedding celebration. This means semi-formal attire that is sophisticated and chic. For gentlemen, suits or blazers paired with dress trousers are appropriate, while ladies may opt for a cocktail dress or elegant separates. We look forward to celebrating with you in style!
If you have a guest, it would be noted on your invitation.
There is a place to note this on your RSVP. The caterer will be able to accommodate any dietary restrictions. If you have additional questions or needs, reach out to Anna or Matt.
Yes!
We have decided to make our wedding an adults-only event.
