We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.
We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes as the terrain around the garden is a mixture of grass and rocks. Ladies we recommend that you wear flats or block heels
The average temperature in June ranges from 70-80 degrees. Bring a jacket because the mornings and evenings can be cooler.
The ceremony will be taking place outside at the Green Garden and the reception will be taking place indoors at the Grand Hall, located right next to the Green Garden
There is a room block available for our wedding guests at the Oregon Garden Resort. We also recommend looking into Airbnb in the surrounding areas. Salem is about 15-20 minutes from the garden. The Oregon Garden is also located near Oregon wine country, which also has airbnb options!
We recommend renting a car since Silverton is about an hour from the Portland airport. Having a car also gives you the flexibility to explore some of the wonderful surroundings that Oregon has to offer such as wineries, breweries, and hiking. Yes, there are 2 parking lots available at the gardens. We recommend parking in the lower lot, as it is closest to where the ceremony and reception are taking place
While we love your little ones, we have decided to have our wedding be an adult only (21+) occasion.
