We're Getting Married!

We met on the first day of Welcome Week at BBC. We were friends and would hang out in friend groups together. Our flower girl, Brandy, told me (Sydney) that Jacob and I would make a cute couple. Later that semester, Jacob's mom told him they would also make a cute couple. We might have had a little help from their friends... Soon, we started hanging out more and getting to know each other. Jacob met with my dad to ask him about dating me. Of course, he was super impressed by him and gave his blessing. Jacob surprised me with a gift bag of all of my favorite things and asked me to be his girlfriend. And that's how it all began!

Jacob bought the ring *months* in advance and wanted to make the day as special as possible. He proposed on my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving, in front of our family and friends. He made a book with pictures capturing our relationship up to that point and finished it with an empty slot for *this* moment. It was a magical moment!
