Maid of Honor
It’s hard to believe that meeting a coworker several years ago turned in to the best friend I could ever ask for. Michelle is truly a God send, and not only my best friend but family. James could not have pulled off proposing without her and I could not get married without her by my side. There are too many adventures to count (and most I can’t write about online) and many more to come. I am so blessed to have such an amazing, accomplished, intelligent, fun and funny “sister” to go through life with. - Brittany
Best Man
Brittany’s son, Richard, is an amazing young man and it was a no-brainer when it came to who James’ best man would be. Anyone who has met Richard knows he is the pride and joy of Brittany and James. Richard enjoys sprinting and distance running, is a phenomenal shooting star of a student and well on his way to changing the world. 3 years ago when James met Brittany, his life changed forever - and mostly because of Richard. They bonded over robotics as James started attending Richard’s schools events. They now love talking about and playing video games, as well as talking about James’ PhD homework (James always needs Richards help).
Groomsman
Brittany and James are so excited to have Brittany’s nephew Xander as part of their wedding party. Xander is 14 years old and is the most loving, compassionate and creative young man. He loves to read science fiction. He is a great help in the kitchen and loves to cook. Xander always gives the best hugs, so if you need one on our wedding you know who to request.
Mother of the Bride
Brittany’s mom is also a Texas resident, although she was born in Illinois and lived in California for most of her life (where Brittany was born). Dorothy is over the moon that Brittany and James found each other. If you ask anyone, she probably prefers James above Brittany but that just tells how great he is. She is truly happy for James, Brittany and Richard as they build their family on this next step in their journey.
