Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

October 1, 2021 please!

Question

Are there any COVID restrictions at the ceremony or reception site?

Answer

It has been a weird year (and then some) and things are always changing. Currently the church and the venue do not require masks but strongly encourage unvaccinated guest to wear a mask for their safety and the safety of others. We want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible so if you prefer to wear your mask the entire evening please do. We will follow the current occupancy restrictions placed by the state of Delaware. Please check back to this questions as guidelines can easily change. We want to keep everyone safe and healthy so if you feel ill we understand if you can not attend and will miss you dearly.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the "Travel" tab for some recommendations including the Hyatt in Dewey where we have a room block. Don't forget to use our code! There are also some amazing options if you want to go in on a house with a group. It is "off season" in Dewey and Rehoboth which means some amazing houses at a reasonable price!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

You are in luck because its the off season here at the beach - all meter and permit parking in both Rehoboth and Dewey Beach are free! The reception venue does have ample parking but cars must be picked up by 9 AM the following morning.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony and reception venue?

Answer

Yes there is! There will be buses picking up guest from the ceremony site and from the Starboard in Dewey Beach. If you are staying in Dewey or prefer to leave your car in Dewey remember parking is free. So grab a beverage and wait for the bus to pick you up and take you to our reception venue which is about 35 minutes away. The buses will also be making a return trip back to Dewey Beach when the reception comes to a close and the after party begins. We want everyone to be safe so please don't drink and drive and take the bus! We kindly ask that when you RSVP you let us know if you will be party busing it with us! Buses will leave St. Edmonds at 3:35 PM Buses will leave Starboard at 3:45 PM

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have had to make some tough cuts due to the COVID regulations in place. If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. That being said the dance floor and bars will be in the tent so plan accordingly!
