We both planned to have a casual proposal. No surprises or fancy things in the works. Just a nice day out at Crocheron Park with our parents meeting for the first time - and of course, our good friend and amazing photographer Willy Wang. But little did we know it was going to be 85 degrees. It was proving to be a challenge in the blazing sun as we tried to look cute in our new outfits for the photos meanwhile focusing on Willy's directions and our parents telling us we were too close to the rocks. After a while of sweaty super model poses, we sat on a bench for a break thinking we were almost finished. That's when we both realized we haven't gotten any pictures yet of the most important thing! We totally forgot about the proposal! We both laughed hysterically at the fact of how surprised and unsurprised we were at ourselves. Fumbling around, trying to find the best spot of sorching sunlight, with our parents throwing foliage at us for romantic aesthetics, Frank got on his good knee and popped the question. This beautiful hot mess (pun intended) of a day will be a memory cherished forever.
