A little pricy (10$ a person, cash only) but by far the best beach in Rhode Island. The sand is soft and there is multiple Del's stands on location! (Del's is a must have frozen lemonade only found in Rhode Island!) Also if you were looking for a late afternoon swim or walk on the beach, the beach is free after 5pm!
Thames street right in downtown Newport is the hot ticket spot for some shopping and eating. Thames street is lined with unique stores and its right on the harbor! Diva is Courtney's all time favorite dress store, while Jon always likes yo try a new exotic meat from the jerky shop!
