All it took was one swipe... or two... or maybe three... along with a few messages. They met the modern way — on an app. (It was J Swipe.) They matched again and again, but he would get nervous and delete his messages before she could read them. Until one day he finally left a message long enough for her to read it... and then... she replied! After a bit of banter... they met for a lovely dinner. Then she went home for Thanksgiving, but she made sure to text him when she was on her way back. After that their dates became more and more frequent. They became official the day after Valentine's when her friends finally grew tired of wondering what to call him and made her ask, "Are you my boyfriend?" He replied "It would be an honor to be called that." After many nights out, true crime marathons, a trip to Mexico, meeting the friends and the families, and... of course, approval from Taco, he knelt down and asked her "Will you marry me?" and she replied "Yes.
