2016- Love at First Sight I was working another weekend shift at a Bar called Cha-Cha's Cantina in Shockoe Bottom, Richmond. Then Hunter walked into my life. I remember when he walked in thinking, thats got to be the best looking guy I had ever seen. He was tall, with this beard, well-dressed and just something in that moment made my heart skip a beat. I immediately decided I was gong to make shots for the guys. I ended up having to kick his friend out of the bar so he left. For about a month, Hunter and his friend Zach would come on the weekends and say hey and hang out and order drinks from my bar. One day, I decided I was going to give Hunter my business card, which had my cell-phone number on it at the time, hoping he would call me. I added him on instagram and facebook as well, hoping he would message me, after some brief messages it went silent. I stopped seeing Hunter and Zach come in. 2017- I got a new job, and then eventually I moved back home to Fredericksburg, VA. Jan 2018, I was scrolling on Instagram and saw this handsome military man, in a blue USCG blouse and decided I was going to send a flirty message. Scrambling for how he knew me I scrolled through his photos and two years prior found a picture from the night he came in on that bachelor party and made the connection. After several conversations, I decided to face-time call hunter. We started talking every night just as friends. He told me one night, that in his wallet, he never lost the business card I gave him. I am such a romantic, I took it as a sign that he was always the one. We talked for months, and then after several leave trips, we fell in love. It was different, because for the first time in my life, I had fallen in love with my best friend. He face-timed me one night in the pouring snow in Alaska, and told me all he wanted to do was be home with me. I knew that Hunter was special. So we made it offical & a deployment later, he asked me to be his wife!!
