Yes! Our goal is to host a wedding where 100% of our guests are fully vaccinated. As of 4/25, we are well on our way with 86% of our guests already vaccinated! PLEASE do your part to ensure the event is safe for all by signing up for a shot ASAP (remember - if you get a double-dose vaccine, you may need 28 days to be fully vaccinated as well as 2 weeks after the second dose for full protection to set in). If you have trouble securing a vaccine appointment, please contact Laura at Laura.Palumbo1011@gmail.com or 347-423-6701 - her sister Caitlin has helped 40+ people get a vaccine appointment and can help you too! If for some reason you can't be vaccinated in time for our wedding, please reach out to us at least 2 weeks prior to our 6/25 wedding so we can discuss precautions you must take, which WILL include proof of a negative COVID test.
The entire staff of Deity is vaccinated AND will be masked during the entire event. Deity will be following city and state guidance as to capacity limits for amount of guests - we will be contacting our guests proactively by end-of-May to state the capacity restrictions we are likely to have on our June 25 wedding and if it impacts guest list count. Additionally, the venue itself has multiple options for social distancing throughout the event - for example, if guests are not comfortable dancing, they can space out in the large lounge area to socialize with others at a distance. The lounge will have wait staff at all times to ensure you can still enjoy food and drinks throughout the evening even if you are not in the dance room.
While we are very optimistic that our full guest list can be accommodated by June, should we need to trim the list to meet NYC regulations for capacity, we will ensure all guests can still join in virtually with a Zoom Link to watch our ceremony! The link will be shared closer to the event. We hope to have a final sense of head count by end-of-May and will alert our guests accordingly.
Absolutely! Nobody should feel pressured to attend events if they are not ready, and while we miss and love each and every one of you, we absolutely understand if going to a wedding is not something you're ready to engage in yet. If you would like to update your RSVP answer, simply go to the "RSVP" section of this website, find your name and update your status. You can also email us at Laura.Palumbo1011@gmail.com or text/call at 347-423-6701 to let us know. We'll be delighted to provide you with a Zoom link to watch the ceremony virtually instead!
