Maid of Honor
Sister (and best friend, neighbor, coworker) of the bride. Maddie is always ready to lend a helping hand (or an article of clothing or style tip). Life with Maddie by my side is the best! From our crazy ideas, like running marathons together… to simply just hanging-out over a good IPA in the southwest burbs. Maddie is the most committed, dependable and caring person I know. I am so proud to be her big sister (yes! I am the older one). Thank you for all your hard work in making this day and the crazy wedding planning process so special.
Best Man
Brother and compadre. Some of my favorite times with Jason are spent on the golf course when he casually shoots even par, bombing down the ski hill, seeing him catch a monster fish like it is no big deal, and seeing him make friends with just about anyone. Jason is thoughtful, considerate, and I am very proud to call him my brother.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride. Kayla and Madeline met on the first day of PA school. The trio (Madeline, Drey and Kayla) happened to be in the same anatomy lab group and ended up living at the same apartment throughout PA school. Madeline is one of the most caring, loyal and smartest people we know. She is also recently married to another wonderful man, who is also in the wedding party—Peter! Kayla and David have enjoyed many great times with the couple, sipping on exotic beers and exploring Minnesota (and Wisconsin) small towns. We are so thankful for the pair in our lives!
Groomsman
Brother of the bride. Even before we met for the first time, I felt like I already knew Frankie from Kayla and her family's stories. Frankie and I quickly bonded over being former D3 student athletes, our passion for professional sports, and being competitive at games around the house, bar, and on the bike trail. I wish I had a dollar for every time someone told me they knew Frankie Mork... I'd then use that money to go play some pull tabs with him.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride. Kayla and Drey also met on the first day of PA school. Drey was also a part of the proposal (admittedly almost missing the big surprise) on the 9th green at Halla Greens. She celebrated with the bunch and even pulled over $200 in pull tab winnings that night with the couple! Drey loves to have fun and make you laugh--there is truly never a dull moment with her around. Looking forward to many more laughs, adventures together and having you by our side on the big day.
Groomsman
Cousin of the groom. Ben is my Minnesota little brother. It is absolutely crazy to think back to some of the early Park Rapids reunions when Ben was under five years old and now he is graduated from the University of Minnesota. Benny is my hockey buddy and I look forward to going to many more hockey games with him (maybe someday one of our teams with hoist the Stanley Cup).
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride. Kayla and Jonna met at University of New Hampshire (UNH), where they played hockey, were roommates and linemates. Jonna is the sweetest, most sincere, and lovable friend to have by your side--on and off the ice. Jonna and Kayla have shared many great times together over the years. They are also enjoying helping each other through the crazy wedding planning adventure, as Jonna gets married this June! Truly a special, lifelong friend, cannot wait to make more memories!
Groomsman
Friend of the groom. Lawless was my third baseman back in 3rd grade AAA for the Monarchs. Yes, we won the championship. Alex and I were pals throughout high school, college, and post-grad. Alex and I are great travel partners and have made memories in Europe, Chicago, and on Lake Superior. Don't ask Lawless about the French train conductor or the day he worked remotely from my apartment.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride. Margo and Kayla met playing summer hockey as teenagers. Again, they were often playing against each other until college, when the two finally got to be teammates and roommates at UNH Kayla’s senior year! Margo may be the loudest in the room come this September. She also has the biggest heart of anyone in the group. So thankful for our growing friendship built on "7 minute wall sit holds" and "noodles & company" and forged by our mutual love for donuts, halo-top ice cream and countless fun times and adventures--with more to definitely come!
Groomsman
Friend of the groom. Pete is way more than just Kayla's PA school friend's husband, he is my buddy. Pete and I have shared several experiences all over Minnesota and Wisconsin together. He has a wicked taste in music, is an avid sports fan, and is an easy guy to get on with in any setting.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride. Delaney and Kayla are longtime hockey friends, often playing against each on the ice over the years. However, now they are “old lady league” teammates—watch out! Off the ice though, the two have enjoyed many great times together from summers spent in Blaine and the “7 minute wall sit challenges” to traveling through Germany, Switzerland and Sweden. Delaney is a one-of-a-kind friend, who has a heart of gold and a sense of humor that will make you laugh until you cry. Cannot wait to have you on my team for the big day (no tripping penalties, I promise!)
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride. Kayla and Anna met in middle school and quickly became best friends. The two developed super cool “code names” to communicate secretly about their middle school crushes. Though, they spent more time gushing over their mutual love for musician David Archuleta and golfer Rory McIlory. Luckily, both have found their dream men now. Their friendship was fortified on the golf course, playing as high school teammates for 5 years! Anna will make you laugh—until you get kicked out of class…at least 5 times. In all seriousness, Anna is one the most caring, dependable and thoughtful friends in my life.
Bridesmaid
Sister of the groom. It has been a blast getting to know Blair over the last few years. Many great times have been shared skiing down the best blue runs, sipping on skinny margaritas, enjoying California wines, eating tacos, and relaxing on the lake, while on family vacations with the Browns’ in Park City, Palm Springs, Catalina Island, and Park Rapids. Most recently, we visited Napa Valley and had a great time in wine country with our moms! I cannot wait to keep making memories over the years, now in Minnesota. Luckily, the wedding is in September, not January :) We both continually look up to Blair’s hard work and creativity. Give her insta a visit for the content @blairbbrown.
