Kayla went to the gym (Certus CrossFit) with her mom because it was “Partner WOD Saturday.” When we got there, Coach James had us pick a card and whoever your card matched with, was your partner AKA a blind draw. Tyler and Kayla picked the same card and the rest is history.

Our first “official date” after being “friends” for a year or so. We went to Colton’s for dinner…didn’t want the night to end so we bought tickets to see Venom a few hours later. To pass the time, we sat in the car while Tyler sang some NKOTB 😂

After 2 attempts at a proposal (Kayla ruined it TWICE after getting the Flu and walking at her graduation at FSU for her M.A.) Tyler was finally able to pop the question. He did it at Certus CrossFit where it all started and he did it with donuts!
