Travel Note
You must have a valid passport with an expiration date of at least six months following the end of your travel. Please check your passport to make sure that it will not expire before October 2025. If you need a new passport, we recommend starting the process as soon as possible because wait times can be long. Follow the link for information on passport applications.
Flight
Florence has one small airport - Florence Airport, Peretola (FLR). This is the closest airport to the venue and the city center of Florence. Due to the size of the airport, you cannot fly directly from the States into FLR and flights can be pricey. Consider flight options into nearby airports like Bologna, Pisa, Rome or Milan. Many airlines offer direct flights from the States to either Milan or Rome. Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP): ~2-3 hour train to Florence costing ~$30-$50 each way. Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO): ~1.5-2 hour train to Florence costing ~$30-$40 each way. Bologna (BLQ): ~40 minute train ride to Florence costing ~$15-$30 each way. Pisa (PSA): ~1 hour train ride to Florence costing ~$20 each way. The link below will take you to Google Flights. Here you can compare different airports/airlines and set up alerts to see when prices drop! **This is not an exhaustive list of nearby airports, so feel free to look into other options that best fit your needs. **

Travel Note
A taxi to the venue will cost from 50-90 euros depending on traffic. A taxi concierge will be available at the venue starting around 11pm. Taxis can be called via the app itTaxi. There are also taxi stands located throughout the city, most notably near the Santa Croce church and near the Santa Maria Novella train station.
Train
Santa Maria Novella is the main train station in the city center of Florence. Trainline is a great website for booking trains around Europe.
Travel Note
Florence is a very walkable, so it is unlikely that you will need transportation within the city. Rideshare (uber, lyft, etc.) is not available in Florence. Taxi stands are located throughout the city (two that I know of are near the Santa Maria Novella train station and near Piazza Santa Croce). You can download and use the itTaxi app to call or reserve a taxi.
