We met the old fashioned way--online! After talking for a few days, Pranav suggested we meet up at a rooftop bar on Portland's east side. We talked for a few hours about anything from politics to religion while overlooking the Willamette River. Drinks and pizza were followed up by ice cream at Salt & Straw and a walk around the Nob Hill neighborhood. We immediately spent the next day, and next weekend, together--the rest was history!

When we first started dating Pranav was looking forward to his sabbatical--a month long break from work. In October of 2018 we eagerly planned a trip to Europe to make the most of his vacation. We booked a cruise for the Baltic sea and counted down the days! One of the first stops on the trip was Tallinn, Estonia. Tallinn is a city where anyone could easily picture a fairytale happening. The city itself is from the 1200s and old town is surrounded by a stone wall and guarded by a defensive tower. Inside you'll find streets made of cobblestone, gas lights, and plenty of medieval architecture. The morning started with a hike up to Toompea Hill and an overlook that showed us the beautiful architecture and the ocean. Pranav waited until all the tourists left and we were alone at the top of the hill to get down on one knee! We are so excited to share the beginning of our journey with you!
