The Wedding Website of Morgan Copp and Paul McGann
Due to a large conference in Chicago the week of the wedding, we assembled this map and the resources on this page to help our guests identify the best possible accommodations for their stay. We have marked important landmarks on the map including the church, reception venue, and the "Blue Line" train stops that lead into the city from O'Hare Airport (ORD). See below for more lodging options outside of AirBnb/VRBO and traditional hotel groups (Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, Hilton, etc.). As always, please email, text, or call us with any questions.

Flight

O'Hare International Airport (ORD)

One of two major airports in Chicago. Includes "blue line" public transportation into the city.

Flight

Midway International Airport (MDW)

The smaller of Chicago's two international airports. Popular destination for Southwest Airlines flights. Includes Orange Line transportation into downtown Chicago.

Train

"Blue Line" Train from O'Hare Airport (ORD)

If the traffic or cost of an Uber from O'Hare Airport (ORD) is steep, consider taking the Blue Line! The train line ends at the airport, so it's a one way ticket towards the city. Rides cost $5.00 per person, and will take you anywhere from 35 minutes to one hour to reach downtown, depending on which stop is your destination.

Train

"Orange Line" Train from Midway Airport (MDW)

Similar to the Blue Line train from O'Hare, the Orange Line train runs from Midway (MDW) into downtown ("the Loop"). The train ride takes about 30 minutes, but unless your hotel is in "the Loop", the trip may require a short walk or separate Uber to reach your destination. The one-way ride costs $2.50 per person.

Hotel

Hotel Versey Days Inn by Wyndham Chicago

644 West Diversey Parkway, Chicago, IL 60614

Hotel Versey was kind enough to block off 10 rooms for our guests at rates between $329-$349/night. These rooms will be available until April 30, 2024. The hotel is located above the limits of the map, but is halfway to Wrigley Field, in case you want to catch the Reds v. Cubs series during the wedding weekend.

Hotel

Crowne Plaza Chicago West Loop, an IHG Hotel

25 South Halsted Street, Chicago, IL 60661

The conference was kind enough to provide three (3) rooms for our wedding guests at the conference rate of $350.00 per night (discounted from $700.00/night). One (1) room remains available of these three rooms as two (2) have been claimed. If you're interested in staying in this hotel room, please reach out to Paul or Morgan so that they can change the room and payment information.

An affordable "dorm room" / hostel-type arrangement that features four (4) private rooms, shared living spaces, and the option to rent out the entire apartment for a group of 8-10.
