We met freshmen year of undergrad at University of Illinois when we joined the same business fraternity second semester. Morgan immediately was drawn to Jack's dimples, stupid jokes, intelligence, and frat-boy style. Jack admired Morgan's unfaltering excitement, her beauty, and that she laughed at his jokes. At the time, Morgan was off the market, so a close friendship blossomed. We got "pledge married" in the business fraternity and took our first photo together in February 2015 (see Gallery). Our period of friendship spanned an entire year, but to Jack's delight, almost one year to the day after we first met, he was finally able to sweep Morgan off her feet. The relationship flourished over the next 7 years. We spent our college summers in separate cities with many hours spent on the road for visits, and we both studied abroad in different countries but met up all across Europe. After college, we were thrilled to continue our love story together in Chicago; we enjoyed date nights at amazing restaurants, traveled to Charleston, San Francisco, Denver, Door County, and Galena, attended dozens of concerts, and plenty of Bears vs. Packers games (for our bi-annual fights). After one year of long-distance while Morgan completed her master's program in Boston, Morgan and Jack were reunited for good in their new home city of Denver, CO. But not before Jack surprised Morgan with a lakefront proposal in Chicago, a city that means so much to both of us. We cannot wait to continue our lives together as husband and wife on August 24th, and we are thrilled to celebrate with you all!
