Bacon & Butter
How about trying one of the best breakfasts/brunches in town? They’ve been featured on the “Michelin Guide” for the past 3 years. The chicken & waffles or the grilled cheese Benedict are on rotation for Morgan. Being real with you, we are fans of everything on the menu. Breakfast burrito? YES. Confidently can promise you’ll love it and leave full.
Sibling by Pushkin's
We love coming here for brunch. It's the Mother of the Bride & Maid of Honors favorite breakfast spot. They have an awesome selection for those that are gluten free! Their baked goods are fantastic. The "no name" pastry and the "mud pie" cookies are a must.
Tower Café
It's a garden oasis and piece of Sacramento history located next to the historic Tower Theater. Their menu is huge and the atmosphere is eclectic. They have a fantastic Pozole that's only served on the weekends for Brunch! Their French toast & omelets are note worthy too!
Mimosa House
The Best Man doesn't shut up about this place. They have mimosa flights and a huge breakfast menu. Many family members claim that they also have... "the best pancakes in town!"
Orphan
The Orphan Breakfast house is a neighborhood staple. We enjoy walking to breakfast with our pups through the tree framed streets of our home in East Sacramento. ***Pro Tip: They only take cash and the wait time can sometimes be long... we PROMISE it's worth it!
Iron Horse Tavern
You can really have any meal here! Life events have been celebrated at this restaurant. We love the Tuna Poke Nachos, Sante Fe Chicken Salad, and the Trios of Mac & Cheese!
Jack's Urban Eats
Hungry for lunch? THE URBAN FRIES ARE AMAZING! ***pro tip, ask for extra hot chili oil. We like everything on their menu. Morgan loves their salads and Ilya is a fan of anything with tri tip.
Koja Kitchen Sacramento
One of our go-to post mate orders… we eat it all up! Kamikaze fries and beef koja x2 please!
Mendocino Farms
The bride and groom love their salads! It’s a nice, healthy option for lunch or dinner.
Mikuni
For the sushi lovers, this is our favorite go-to spot! The "Pimp-My-Roll" is almost always ordered! They have an awesome “Menu for Two” that hits all the bases.
Midtown's Cantina Alley
We went here on our first double date! The atmosphere is fun & their margaritas are major yum! They even have drinks served in fruit. How fun!
The Green Room
We really dig the vibe here! They don't take reservations but we've found getting there a little early helps beat the dinner crowds. Cocktails are fantastic. Everything is TASTY! We like sharing the burger, baked Brie, & street corn.
Zócalo Restaurant Midtown
A go to dinner spot for us. Our favorite items on the menu include the fish tacos, the carnitas burrito, & spicy margaritas!
OBO' Italian Table & Bar
A short walk away from our home. We really love their pizzas— specifically their truffle mushroom pizza & we add sausage! They have a seasonal menu so we usually try something new too. It’s fun to get a couple things & share.
Kru | Contemporary Japanese Cuisine
This would be a "Splurge Date Night" for us. WE LOVE IT HERE. It's got some of Sacramento’s most artfully executed and flavorful Japanese food. ***Highly recommend snagging a reservation up if you're a planner like Morgan.
Rick's Dessert Diner
Voted Best of Sacramento for Dessert every year since 1986!!! The Bride’s dad loves their “best yellow cake” and the groom really likes their eclairs! The bride & groom usually share a milkshake. They stay open until 11 pm everyday.
Drake's: The Barn
Another favorite day to night location. We love riding our bikes there! It's a great way to check out the downtown area and ride along the river. They offer food, beer, wine, cocktails, and entertainment along the river in West Sacramento’s Bridge District. They have an awesome architectural landmark inside!
SacYard Community Tap House
This is our local watering hole. We love walking here with Maui & Moose. They offer games and frequently have live music with food trucks on rotation. Here you can find local brew, wine, & our FAVORITE hard kombucha on tap!
Flatstick Pub - DOCO
We are lifetime members at this indoor, Sacramento-themed mini-putt course & brewery. They serve local brew and offer free tastings from their 34 on tap beer selections. It's one of our favorite date night locations! Nothing like a good, healthy competitive night. Who do you think normally wins? ;)

The cocktail menu here is fantastic. It's a small but mighty space! We dig the vibe & you will too!
Goldfield Trading Post
Anyone who knows us well, knows we love country music! This is one of our favorite bars to go to *when we go out. If you like country music, this will be right up your alley for a night on the town.
LowBrau
Basically where everyone in Sacramento gets PBRs. Always been a go to place for a night out. Also have brunch and food options! Cocktail menu is fun.
The Bank
The architecture is one of our favorite parts of this establishment. They have a wide selection of foods and a Happy Hour from 4pm-7pm Wednesdays-Saturdays. Their underground vault has 68 self-pour taps with local, national, and international craft beer, wine, kombucha, & ciders!
Ink Eats & Drinks
Need a late night bite? Morgan was roommates in college with the owner's daughter. They are open until 2 am on the weekends. Shaved Prime Rib Sandwiches, Wings, & Crispy Chicken Sandwiches anyone?
McKinley Park
Our favorite place to walk Maui & Moose. A few laps around this and you’ll be sure to hit your step goal!
Fitness Rangers
This place kicks ass! They have a pretty sizable option of classes. They allow drop in rates & also take class pass if you’re on that. Boot camp is a perfect way to get your butt into gear before drinking & eating all the tasty stuff this weekend.
The SPACE - Social Wellness Studio
The bride really enjoys coming here for hot yoga! Believe it or not, the groom has joined her for a few classes himself. They also have an infrared sauna and cold plunge!
Asha Urban Baths
Talk about ultimate relaxation. You have access to the facilities if you book a service here. They offer massages, facials, and other spa services along with their hot tub, polar plunge, steam room, & sauna.
