We're getting married!

Morgan and Guy have known each other since high school, but really became close friends during Morgan's Senior year at Pearl High School. She was a Grid Iron Girl with the football team and he was a football player. They shared a lot of teenage fun her last year in school, but were just friends at that point. When Morgan graduated high school, she went to the University of Southern Mississippi. She asked Guy to go to one of her sorority date parties and he didn't hesitate to head to Hattiesburg. They continued to talk off and on, but truly just remained friends up until they finally had that first "real" date in August 2021. They soon realized their friendship had turned into something more serious and have been inseparable since then.

They had just returned from a week in the Great Smokey Mountains with Morgan's parents. Guy spends Sundays with his dad, so Morgan was going to what she believed to be a day in Hattiesburg to watch her cousin Bryce play baseball at USM. What Morgan did not know is there was an elaborate plan for Guy, his dad, and Jacob to also be in Hattiesburg for the proposal. Morgan's parents made her believe they were going to different locations on USM’s campus that had significant meaning to her college years in order to take pictures at each location for a memory book. Morgan was not easily convinced to participate, but reluctantly gave in after gentle persuasion from her parents. When Morgan and her parents arrived at the sorority house where Morgan and Guy had their first official date, Morgan was taking a picture and Guy came up from behind her to be on bended knee once she turned around and realized what was really going on. He asked her to be his wife and she happily said yes!
