Flight
MONTROSE (MTJ) airport is a 1 hour and 20 minutes drive from town. DURANGO (DRO) and GRAND JUNCTION (GTC) airports are both about a 2 hour and 30 minute drive and have direct flights from some cities in the western half of the US. TELLURIDE (TEX)* airport is a 10 minute drive from town. *TEX flights fill up early, so book sooner rather than later if you are interested in this option. Note that a car is not necessary in Telluride! The entire town is accessible through the free gondola service that runs from 6:30am to midnight everyday.

Travel Note
Unless driving to Telluride, renting a car is not necessary. Once arriving in Telluride, the town and Mountain Village is accessible completely by the free gondola transportation that operates daily from 6:30am - 12:00am.
