We highly recommend booking your travel as soon as possible as August in Block Island is high season. We have put together some recommended locations to stay, but keep in mind:
- The island isn't as walkable as you might think, but there are plenty of taxis, bikes, mopeds and car rental options
- Cars can only be brought via ferry from Pt Judith, RI (we recommend reservations made ASAP)
- House rentals generally require a minimum of 7 days

New England Airlines
Flights leave from Westerly, RI every daylight hour in the summer. Dogs are welcome and there is free parking at the airport.
