Things To Do

U.S. Space & Rocket Center

1 Tranquility Base, Huntsville, AL 35805

We're surrounded by some of the smartest people on the planet, rocket scientists, engineers, and Sheldon Coopers- but it's really cool, informative and very kid friendly. They even have summer space camp which I would have begged my parents for.

Big Spring International Park

200 Church Street Southwest, Huntsville, AL 35801

We had our first date here during the Tinsel Trail.

Monte Sano State Park

5105 Southeast Nolen Avenue, Huntsville, AL 35801

A really pretty area that gives you the peace and relaxation of being in nature.

Bridge Street Town Centre

365 The Bridge Street Northwest, Huntsville, AL 35806

A very extensive and beautiful outdoor shopping center that was built like Italy.

The Moon Bakeshop

201 Jefferson Street North, Huntsville, AL 35801

This is one of our favorite bakeries.

Stovehouse

3414 Governors Drive Southwest, Huntsville, AL 35805

We love going here.

Campus No. 805

2620 Clinton Avenue West, Huntsville, AL 35805

They turned an old school into a whole a$$ bar crawl. They have other things like dance lessons, restaurants, art classes and ax throwing.

Railroad Station Antiques

315 Jefferson Street North, Huntsville, AL 35801

This is the neatest antique store that either of us have ever seen.

Huntsville-Madison County Public Library

915 Monroe Street Southwest, Huntsville, AL 35801

We have had many dates here. There's a coffee shop called Scooters within walking distance of the hotel and library. We usually get our fancy coffee, go to the THREE story library and sip our coffees while we read a book.

Maple Hill Cemetery

202 Maple Hill Street Southeast, Huntsville, AL 35801

This is a huge cemetery that has a festival every year where people can hear reenactors tell the person's story. It sounds morbid but it's really cool. They'll have Rosie the Riveter, Von Braun, and other influential people that helped develop and mold Huntsville into what it is today.

Huntsville Botanical Garden

4747 Bob Wallace Avenue Southwest, Huntsville, AL 35805

It's like a drive through safari but you get to see plants and really neat botanicals instead of animals.

For all the days along the way
