Where is the wedding?

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

YES! You can do this by using the QR code that was included with the invitations, or by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above. This will help us finalize our details with our vendors. To everyone who received a "Brunch & Bubbly" invitation in the mail, please respond to the RSVP by August 5th, 2023 for our Bridal Shower. Immediate family and friends who received a "Save The Date" in the mail, please RSVP by September 30th, 2023 for our wedding and reception. If you do not RSVP, you will unfortunately not be able to attend our celebrations. If you were to show up without RSVPing, there will be no seats for you or a meal. We will try to send out as many reminders as we can as the date gets closer. Thank you!

What if I am unable to make it?

Answer

Your presence will surely be missed. Please respond to the RSVP "Will NOT Attend" on our website. If you have already RSVP'd attending, but find that you will not be able to make it, please notify Morgan (703) 853-3956 or Aaron (703) 895-1433. We understand it can be difficult for our loved ones to attend due to an out of state wedding (for most). Please note that we hope to plan a "Happily Ever After" celebration in Ohio to celebrate with those who were not able to attend.

What if I want to come to the wedding, but I did not receive a Save The Date?

Answer

Since our wedding will be in North Carolina, we will be celebrating our ceremony and reception with immediate family and friends. We look forward to celebrating our anticipated wedding with everyone at our bridal shower, and hope to have a "Happily Ever After" party at a later date in Ohio. We are also hoping to have our wedding live streamed for others to be able to view online.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your guest name is listed on your invite & when you RSVP on our website, then yes! Your invitation will be made out to "[Your Name} & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding an intimate event with close friends and family.

Will there be a room block?

Answer

We will not have a room block for our wedding, to allow our guests to have more flexibility when choosing where to stay. Please check the "Travel" tab above for nearby hotel recommendations.

Where can I park?

Answer

There will be a parking lot located at the venue. When you pull in the. driveway, the parking lot will be to your left. We ask that you please do NOT park in the spaces close to the lodge. This will be reserved for vendors and other VIPs. If you would like to drop guests off closer to the lodge before parking, that would be fine.

What time should I arrive?

Our wedding ceremony will start at 2:00 pm with cocktail hour and reception to follow. It would be best to assure you arrive at least 30 minutes before our ceremony to find your seats!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would LOVE to see our family and friends get dressed up for our special day! The dress code is semi-formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Whatever shoes you feel comfortable in. Please keep in mind that this is an outdoor venue. The property has grass, rock, and gravel.

Are there any colors to avoid?

Answer

Please do not wear white, ivory, or cream. The bride will have this covered!

Where can I find the wedding registry?

Answer

We have our registry linked through our website with the options of things we need or upgrades we would love! We also have an option to donate to our honeymoon fund. Please click the "Registry" tab in the menu above. All gifts are greatly appreciated!

Where should we bring or send our wedding gifts?

Answer

If gifts are bought through our registry links, they will be sent either to us or to a secure location of one our family members. There may also be an option to have it shipped to yourself so you can hand deliver your gift if you would like to!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means that we are asking that all phones and devices are put away and on silent/turned off during our ceremony. We hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and we'd hate for their shots to have phones in them. Additionally, we will have it set up for our ceremony to be live streamed for those who will not be able to attend our wedding. After the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many photos as you would like!

Yes! Please just make sure you tag us in your post and include our wedding hashtag (see below).

Will you livestream the wedding?

Answer

Yes, the wedding will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend. Please stay tuned for information!

Yes! We are going to have an open bar. There should be plenty of options for you to choose from. Please enjoy the night with us and we will see you on the dance floor! Don't forget to try our signature drinks!

Our wedding will be fully catered.
