It was a sunny March Friday, and Joe was driving to Kaitlyn's parents' Wye river home after a very long and stressful work day. Kaitlyn was in the kitchen preparing one of Joe's favorite drinks -- a classic margarita, on the rocks, with a salted rim. When Joe got home and walked into the kitchen, Kaitlyn greeted him a margarita. Joe set down his work and weekend bags, and Kaitlyn turned around for a brief second while chatting about how cute their dogs, Remi and Ruby, were that day. When Kaitlyn turned back, Joe lunged to one knee and pulled out a ring.
