We planned for rain, or for the wrong color flowers...but we did not put “global pandemic” on the list of possible wedding issues. After a lot of thought we decided to postpone our wedding date to July 17, 2021. We are just as excited to celebrate safely and make new memories with you. We'll be following Maine state guidelines for the guest count, and all safety protocols. We also understand you may not be ready to travel - that is OK! We plan to have a post-wedding reception at a future date to continue the celebration. Please let us know your RSVP status as soon as possible, and we'll continue to work with the venue to make things run smoothly. Check out our Schedule and Travel sections for the latest info, and feel free to contact Sarah or Eric with any questions as the new date approaches. Let's Do This!
Our meeting was a classic New York City love story: 2AM in the basement of a divey East Village club. Girl meets boy dressed up a little too early for Halloween as Mr. Potato Head. A few days later, boy and girl have their first date in the Lower East Side, enjoying lychee martinis and winning pool games against patrons for beers. Every date, vacation, and moment together since then has been the same as those first meetings - a little quirky, full of laughter, and wonderfully memorable. We wouldn't have it any other way.
A weekend in Seaside Heights, NJ with Eric's family was just getting started. The grill was on and the girls were posing for pictures in the back yard. All of a sudden, Sarah's parents arrived through the back gate, Eric was on one knee, and Sarah was saying "Yes!" amid a flurry of tears. Months of planning, phone calls, and a ring hand-picked in Hong Kong all came together beautifully for an unforgettable moment surrounded by family. And now, the big day is nearly here! We are so excited to create more great memories with you as we start this next chapter in our lives.
