Benjamin and Monzerrat initially crossed paths while pursuing their academic endeavors at Northeastern Illinois University. While Ben was affiliated with a fraternity, Monzerrat had recently joined a sorority. Introduced by mutual friends, they had a cordial first encounter, but their relationship remained rather superficial, limited to occasional greetings in passing. However, fast forward to November 2018, when Benjamin reached out to Monzerrat via Instagram, and their relationship took a significant turn. From that point on, they embarked on a journey that would eventually culminate in a meaningful partnership.

Benjamin proposed to Monzerrat during her birthday dinner at Joe Seafood in downtown Chicago, and she said yes! We are thrilled to celebrate this next chapter in their lives with you.
