To celebrate moving into our new place and the start of our sophomore year at USF, my roommates and I had some friends over. A friend introduced us at that party. I remember immediately wanting to get to know her better. I somehow got it in my mind she was just visiting from out of town and was sad we wouldn't be able to see each other again. To my surprise, we would run into each other very soon after and continued getting to know one another. This was just the beginning. - Riley

It was a beautiful Saturday morning and we had planned to take Bean to the beach in Half Moon Bay. I remember wondering if Riley might propose that day, but was ultimately distracted as our family dog Halo had passed away the day before. After watching Bean run down the sand, the day started to turn around as we were enjoying a place that Halo loved so much, the beach. As I walked a couple steps in front of Riley, I heard him call my name. I turned around to find him down on one knee, asking me to marry him. There were no doubts in my mind as I happily said yes. Riley finished off the best day of our lives how he knows best, with an amazing meal planned for us. - Olivia

We will be getting married in a civil ceremony at San Francisco City Hall with our parents. We are so excited to celebrate with you all after!
