Driving Directions

Driving south from San Diego across the border: Stay right after the border crossing and follow signs to Playas de Rosarito. You'll follow the highway along the border wall to the coast, and then turn south onto the toll road (quota) towards Ensenada. You'll stay on the highway through two toll stations (bring a couple dollars cash for easy payment). 9 miles after the second toll station you'll reach the exit for "Puerto Nuevo/Cantamar". Exit here and turn left heading south onto the Carretera Libre (Free Road). Continue south for 1 km to the small town of Primo Tapia where the venue is located. Turn right on Benito Juaraz Garcia (look for the bakery or "panaderia" on the right side) and continue until you reach the ocean. The house is on the left.

Cantamar Community

**Our recommendation** This community is very close to the venue and has a lot of affordable houses for rent. Community is gated and features a pool and beach access. We've stayed here before and had a great time! Check airbnb for availability. Bonus: We will be arranging a local shuttle to run to/from our venue on the day of the wedding - no driving required!

Mexican Car Insurance

Remember! US rental cars cannot be driven into Mexico. And don't forget to purchase insurance for privately owned vehicles if you plan on driving south across the border.

House Or Rental

Las Gaviotas

This is a private community - gated and secured - directly on the coast with private beach access, pool, sand volleyball net, shuffle board court, jacuzzi, and beautiful views out over the ocean. Slightly further from the venue but still a short drive.

Hotel

Puerto Nuevo Hotel y Villas

This is the closest hotel to the venue and a good option for those not wanting to rent a house. The hotel is 4 km north of our venue.
