This love story began in Boston, Massachusetts on September 19th, 2017. Mona and her roommate were offered tickets to a pre-season Bruins game, and as fate would have it, Kyle also happened to be in attendance with a friend. They may not have bonded over a love of football but that didn’t stop the two from buzzing over to Tavern in the Square to meet up for a few beverages after the game. Two days later, Kyle and Mona went on their first official date: dinner in the North End followed by a surprise concert at TD Garden...and the rest is history!

On a late summer evening in Wisconsin, Kyle took Mona to Granite Peak for a romantic chairlift ride up the mountain to experience a view of the city where he grew up. The two were accompanied by Kyle’s sister and soon to be brother-in-law who would turn out to be the perfect photographer/videographer combo. As Kyle and Mona reached the summit, they walked hand in hand down a path through the woods to a clearing that overlooked the beautiful countryside. The sun began to set as Kyle leaned in and asked Mona if she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. After a kiss and a firm squeeze, Kyle got down on one knee and popped the question. The special surprise moment was captured by video and many photos. The perfect night continued on the ride down the mountain with a FaceTime call to Mona’s family who were anxiously waiting to hear the news back in Worcester and greetings from Kyle’s parents at the chalet, followed by a wonderful dinner and drinks to celebrate the start of an amazing journey!
