~ Walk around and stop for something to eat! Start at the Milwaukee Public Market. Then, try a bloody Mary at the Wicked Hop or enjoy drinks and views at Cafe Benelux. From there, keep walking south and check out local shops.
~ If you're staying on the north shore of Milwaukee, this is a great place to take a relaxing nature walk in this scenic area. It has six miles of trails through forests, prairies, wetlands, and Lake Michigan shoreline. They're also known as Milwaukee's bird watching hostpot! It's open from 8:30am – 5:00pm daily. Tickets: You can purchase tickets when you get there, and admission is $10/ person.
~ We recommend taking a tour, then having a beer and bite to eat! Tickets: The tour costs about $15/ person and lasts 45 minutes. You need to sign up online before you go. See the link below to purchase a ticket.
~ This is a local coffee chain with places all over Milwaukee. This specific one is great because you can grab some coffee and snacks, and take a scenic stroll along the lakefront downtown.
~ Milwaukee is known for custard and butter burgers. We recommend stopping here for a quick bite to eat and a turtle sundae! Check the website for the favor forecast!
~ Camp is a fun bar that resembles a cabin from northern Wisconsin. They have locations in Shorewood, the Third Ward, and downtown near the Trade Hotel.
~ If you want to workout, we can give you a guest pass for the downtown or the North Shore locations. When you get to the WAC, please stop at the front desk and share your name with them.
