Balloon Glow at Coney Island

The first time he told me he loved me was out in a field watching the sunset.

Off to our anniversary getaway! Upon arrival at our annual cabin stay, I was just about shoved in the door and told to sit down and not to peek out the windows. I was then left to my own thoughts for about 20 minutes until he came back to tell me he was ready to show me his surprise. Out on the patio, there is a table with my favorite color cloth, rose petals, wine bottles, candles lit, and a TV with a slide show prepared. He seats me and we watch the presentation as it rolls through our story photo by photo and date by date to our song (Mean to Me - Brett Eldredge). A date came up on the slide from March 2020, and I didn't remember what we did that day or why that day was important, but soon found out that was the day he asked my parents for their blessing. He then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!
