As most of you probably know, we have been married for a minute now. We officially tied the knot back on August 12th in Molly's parents back yard. We are not doing any sort of ceremony in Minnesota during this event. This event is simply a party to celebrate our love between each other and the love we feel towards each and every one of you. So, no sitting through the I do's, only good food, vibin' music, and smooth cocktails.
There will be buses from The Celeste to Paikka at 4:30pm and 5pm. There will also be transportation back at the end of the night.
Honestly, your guess is as good as ours. The range is from 10 to 60 degrees, with warm sun shine to a full on blizzard. So we would suggest not to start packing until the 10 day weather forecast comes out. In reality, the average temps are highs in the 50's and lows in the 30's, and if it snows its a dusting that is gone in a day. Except for the infamous Halloween snow storm of 1991 that dumped 30 inches in some spots of the state... Fingers crossed...
The two cities that make up the beloved Twin Cities. From downtown to downtown it is about a 10 minute drive. Our venue is smack dab right in between the two. We chose to have our hotel in Saint Paul because even though it is the smaller of the two cities, downtown Minneapolis has become an unsafe area to walk around after dark in the past few years. If you would like to do some sight seeing during your trip the Uber from the hotel to Minneapolis will be 20-30 dollars at most.
The twin cities has two airports which make up Minneapolis - Saint Paul International Airport (MSP). Terminal 1 (Lindberg) and Terminal 2 (Humphery). The two terminals are right next to each other and share the same runways, so there really is no difference in getting to and from the different airports. Both are easy to utilize rideshare apps to get to your destination. Terminal 1 is the 'big airport' that comes with more food options, services more of the airlines, and more crowds. Terminal 2 is the 'small airport' that has a few food options and almost no traffic. If you fly Jetblue, Southwest, or Frontier you will fly in and out of terminal 2. The rest will go to Terminal 1.
We love your children, but take a night off for this adults only party!
