The Graylyn Estate

Beyond our wedding, there is so much to do at Graylyn. There are lawn games, an ice cream room, Gray family history, bikes, a pool, a tennis court, and more to explore!

Reynolda Village

Reynolda Village is the family home of the Reynolds Family and walking distance (or a short bike ride) from Graylyn. You can visit the Reynolda House, which has been converted into a museum, walk around the beautiful gardens and the Garden Shop, eat at Dough Joe's or the Village Tavern, and shop around.

St. Leo the Great Catholic Church

St. Leo’s is where Molly (and two of her bridesmaids - Cassie and Carrie) attended elementary school. If you’d like to attend Mass while you’re in Winston-Salem, St. Leo’s is the place to go!

Wake Forest University

A local Winston-Salem fan favorite! Also, walking distance (but a bit of a longer walk) from Graylyn via Reynolda Village.

Krispy Kreme

The original Krispy Kreme!

Thruway Shopping Center

Thruway has a bunch of fun restaurants and shops. We'd highly recommend getting a cake square, Moravian cookies, or a fun souvenir from Dewey's Bakery. You can also get a smoothie at the Juice Shop, or lunch at the Carving Board or the Loop. The majority of Molly's wardrobe comes from the Francesca's in Thruway.

Joymongers Barrel Hall

A fun place to hang out for drinks, appetizers, and trivia

Louie and Honey's Kitchen

No matter what you get, you MUST order a cinnamon roll.

You can't go wrong at Diamondback, but we'd recommend their sweet potato fries and $2 PBRs.

Head to Truist Stadium to support the Winston-Salem Dash! Check the schedule for games while you're in Winston-Salem.

Old Salem Museums & Gardens

Come see where Winston-Salem started! You can dip some candles, participate in a love feast, and pump the water (a favorite of Molly's when she was little)

20 minute drive from Graylyn Tanglewood is a park that has many trails to explore, horses to pet, and even a golf course to play!

25 minute drive from Graylyn Good wine, good food, and many animals to pet!

Pilot Mountain State Park

30 minute drive from Graylyn If you're in the mood for a hike and some great views, head to Pilot Mountain. Pilot Mountain offers a variety of trails - Molly's favorite is the Jomeokee Trail.

30 minute drive from Graylyn Winery owned by NASCAR legend and team owner Richard Childress

35 minute drive from Graylyn We'd recommend getting a reservation at their End Posts Restaurant

Andy Griffith Museum

40 minute drive from Graylyn Mount Airy is the true Mayberry, and you can explore an Andy Griffith museum and stroll the streets of Mayberry.

Dan River Company

45 minute drive from Graylyn Canoeing or kayaking at the Dan River Company is a fun day trip and a father/daughter highlight!
