Oregon is the most beautiful state - we may be slightly biased but you can't beat the stunning mountains, forests, and coastline! If you are visiting for the first time and want to make a trip out of it, there is plenty to see around the Willamette Valley and the rest of the state.

Awesome old roadside attraction theme park along I-5 near Salem. If you've seen Gravity Falls, that's the vibe here. The Witch House made Molly cry as a kid. Fun!
Multnomah Falls
OR 97014
Possibly Oregon's most famous waterfall. In the Columbia Gorge northeast of Portland, these falls are an Oregon classic, but expect a lot of traffic mid-summer. The Columbia Gorge features many other waterfalls and hikes to choose from.
Smith Rock State Park
Terrebonne, OR 97760
An Oregon staple, Smith Rock near Bend, OR has excellent hiking and rock climbing. We have visited many times as a couple.
South Sister Mountain

This is a beautiful but strenuous, advanced level 10-12 hour hike near Bend, OR. Bring plenty of food, water, and sunscreen.
