When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Come as you are! Just come clothed. We recommend cocktail attire or anything good for dancing! This is an outdoor venue. We will have a fire pit and heat lamps but please bring a warm jacket or throw. The terrain varies throughout the venue (cement, gravel, grass). We suggest shoes with a flat bottom, wedges, or a block heel.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, plenty of free parking and there will be signs and "people" directing you where to go!

What do you mean by "people"?

Answer

It is a hot topic for debate whether or not Big Foot is of Homo Erectus origin.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask all loved ones to be at the ceremony at 4:00 PM to allow time to find the place and get situated before the 4:30 ceremony.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Shangri La On the Green is a beautiful location fully outdoors, though there will be covered areas in case of rain for the cocktail hour and reception.

What is on your registry?

Answer

YOU! We have opted to forego a registry. We have what we need and all we wish for is that our friends and family can gather in celebration!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course. Jordan, our bartender for the evening, will be serving wine from Chateau Ste. Michelle, beer from Stoupe Brewery, and worked with us to create a specialty cocktail. There will also be non-alcohol options available.

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

The formal reception will likely dissolve around 8 PM, but rest assured, we will be dancing, screaming, singing, and celebrating late into the night.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We wish everyone could have a plus one! However since we are limiting our guest list, we have given priority to certain plus ones. Plus one spots will be shown when you RSVP. If you think there has been a mistake, please email Dmitriy at dmitriy8787@gmail.com.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! There is a small jungle gym on-site and sports courts. Please note that the venue is surrounded by dense forests and there is direct access to the Green River. We ask that you keep a close eye on your children for their safety since no childcare or supervision will be provided.

ARE PETS WELCOME?

Yes! We love all doggos. If you do bring your dog, please ensure they are kept on leash and picked up after.

What COVID precautions do we need to take?

Answer

This is an outdoor wedding with plenty of space to distance but we welcome everyone to make the decision whether or not to wear a mask. We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe.

WHAT FOOD/DRINKS WILL BE PROVIDED?

Answer

Friday: Whoever is present at this time is welcome to join us for our Rehearsal dinner. We will be serving creamy mushroom soup and garden vegetable soup in bread bowls with a light side salad. S'mores and hot beverages will be available in the evening. Saturday: A light brunch will be set up on the side of the lodge next to the grills in the morning. Light bites during cocktail hour, dinner, and desserts provided in the evening. Sunday: Coffee, tea and breakfast bites will be served in the morning. Please be sure to pack food and beverages for additional meals if camping at the venue.

What is there to do around the venue?

- At Shangri-la on the Green - A fire pit, sports courts, fishing access, and hang out areas will be available throughout the weekend.
